A collection of fourteen tracks featuring a mix of compositions from composers of the era such as Cole Porter, Johnny Mercer & Duke Ellington; as well as contemporary composers Don Menza and Diane Schuur. There’s also a standout Canadian presence with the inclusions from the pens of clarinet master Phil Nimmons; Vancouver trombonist Jill Townsend; and Edmonton alto saxophonist PJ Perry, who contributes the title cut.
